Has it really been almost a year since I posted??
My last post on here was from around the time of Jess's wedding?
Oh wow....
K...well! I've been up to quite a bit since then!!
Let's see:
In November, I and my boyfriend decided to start seeing each other long distance. He lived just North of Austin and I lived up here in DFW-land. Now (5 days till') nine months later he's moved in and we're living together.
To be quite frank I never really gave stories about soul-mates credance until him.
I always figured people were just lucky if they made it work for more than a decade or if they married one of the right ones the first time. I find my opinion is suddenly and quite solidly changed. There is no voice in the back of my head telling me this won't work or it will only last so long. There is peace in the expanse I call my mind (on this topic) and a fullness in my heart. Maybe I'm just high on it all still and I won't start to come down until a few years go by. Well, then I guess Ladyies and Gentlemen, I did inhale and I'm going to hold my breathe for as long as life lets me.
Outside my own self life has gone on for all. My friend Debra had a baby and is now living in Scotland with her new little family and her in-laws. My friends Alli and Kent got married and it was beautiful. My dear friend and dancing partner Michelle moved away to plan her wedding to her wonderful Harsh, which is in November. There have been Hafla's and parties and events attended. Shew-ee it's been a whirl wind.
I know perfectly well that there's more to talk about, but I find myself speech-less. I feel the poetic muse stirring since yesterday... I'm dancing with another friend of mine tonight, but maybe I'll try my hand at writing too.
